Board game for four vocalists
With ‘Terrain’ Aske Zidore expands on his most recent experiments with non-linear composing, by presenting a performative piece that reflects on worldbuilding and the creation of spaces and places. Game mechanics are here utilised through a board game as a passage into dynamic and circular vocal compositions, performed live by four voices. The vocalists will as part of the performance construct a circuit, which will lead them into different and unforeseeable variations of the piece.
Exhibited and performed at Galleri Blunk Trondheim, May 2022
